A draft classification of the cookies and browser storage currently used by Acadanex.
Current browser technologies
The current application uses an HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax session cookie when a user signs in. The theme preference is stored in browser local storage. Public educational pages do not require an account cookie.
What is not active
No advertising tracker, AdSense tag, marketing pixel, third-party analytics script, or unnecessary tracking cookie is active. ADS_ENABLED remains false.
Consent management
A consent management platform is not implemented because non-essential tracking is not active. If analytics, advertising, or other non-essential technologies are added later, the consent categories, lawful basis, withdrawal mechanism, regional behavior, and vendor list require professional review before activation.
Retention and controls
Session expiry and revocation are controlled server-side. Local theme preference can be cleared through browser controls. Future preference or consent storage must remain separate from authentication and must not become a login wall for public learning.
